DayQuil Cold & Flu LiquiCaps by Procter & Gamble is a non-drowsy, over-the-counter medication that temporarily relieves common cold and flu symptoms, including:

  Each capsule contains the following active ingredients: Acetaminophen (500 milligrams) Dextromethorphan HBr (15 milligrams) Guaifenesin (400 milligrams) Acetaminophen is a pain reliever and fever reducer. Dextromethorphan HBr is a cough suppressant. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that helps to loosen mucus and make it easier to cough up. DayQuil Cold & Flu LiquiCaps should be taken by adults and children 12 years of age and older. The recommended dose is one capsule every 4 to 6 hours, not to exceed four capsules in 24 hours.
