Doxycycline is a broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), sexually transmitted infections (STIs), skin conditions like acne, and certain parasitic infections such as malaria and rosacea.
