Naproxen 500mg is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to reduce pain, inflammation, and swelling. It is commonly prescribed for conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, muscle pain, menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea), and gout flares. Naproxen provides long-lasting relief and is typically taken twice daily. Dosage & Administration Adults: Typical dose: 250??????500 mg twice daily (every 12 hours) Maximum dose: Not to exceed 1000 mg/day in most cases Take with food or milk to reduce stomach upset Elderly or patients with kidney issues: Lower doses may be needed Pregnancy & Lactation ?????? Pregnancy:Naproxen is not recommended during the third trimester, as it may cause premature closure of the ductus arteriosus and other complications.
